Family Fun – early spring flowers!

February21

“The beauty of spring can be yours in winter. How? By forcing bulbs indoors. This is easy, rewarding and fun to force several bulbs for early indoor color.”

The great thing about bulbs is that they can be transplanted outside and they are perennials, so will bloom year after year without replanting! You could also force bulbs as gifts for your friends or to decorate an indoor room for spring.

Not only are spring bulbs fun but they are easy to swap with friends. Also I found a bunch of daffodils flowering in the garbage heap last year. A quick transplant and more flowers for no money!

    God bless

This is a great idea to make the house feel springy. I am also forcing some forsythia blooms from a branch for a little color. We always called them “March Blooms” They are so pretty in the spring.
