Thinking Ahead…Christmas Candy Reinvented
Here’s a super idea from the talented sisters over at Roots and Wings Co. Buy Christmas chocolates NOW at drastically reduced prices. It will keep, and can be creatively repackaged for Valentine’s Day. You can give quality chocolate to all your sweeties for pennies on the dollar.
Check out their post to see just how they repackaged Christmas candy for Valentines–adorable–and a big money saver!

I just found your blog and I thought I need to do this. I teach a class on Fridays and I can buy the candy now and make Valentines for my students. So out to Kroger I went, picked up 2 big bags of M&Ms. HA! They are all green and red! Oh well! Maybe I can pick the red ones out for Valentine’s Day and have the Green ones for St. Patrick’s Day.
Love this idea! My 8 year old daughter aways wants to give gifts to her friends and this is a great inexpensive way to do it. She always wants to sew too so now I can give her this project to do.
I pick up candy canes really cheep. Grind in food processor. Use as sugar for mint brownies or add to hot chocolate for Mint Hot Chocolate. I also buy left over chocolate and either grind it in grinder and use in baking or break chunks off and use in a chocolate fondue.
