Warmables Winner

August30

The winner of the Warmables Lunch set is. . . .

Here is what Angela shared:

My favorite back-to-school lunch would probably be a hot roast beef and cheddar sandwich on a crusty bread roll. Toss some fruit or fresh cut veggies in the bag along with your sandwich, and you’re good to go. (This is a really quick lunch to put together if you’ve just made a roast for dinner the night before.)

Congratulations Angela! You will be receiving an email from me shortly so that I can get your shipping address.

Be watching later this week for another giveaway!

It’s Monday and Time for a Giveaway ~ CONTEST CLOSED

August23

We have a winner: Congratulations, Angela! Enjoy your Warmables.

Some Mondays I wake up and think, “What a beautiful day”, but then there are Mondays that I get up and think, “Why am I even up yet?”.

Do you ever feel like that? Since today is a Monday and to keep everyone from feeling like they should just go back to bed, I am doing a giveaway on a new product I recently discovered!

I am loving my new Warmables lunch pouch. The plastic bowl is the perfect size for a good bowl of soup or leftovers from last night’s supper. The cool thing about this is that you don’t need a microwave in the lunch room to warm your soup or leftovers up.

Before you leave for work or school, put your heated food in the bowl and place in the bag. Warm the cherry pit bag and place in the warmables pouch. Your food will stay heated for HOURS!

Would you like to win  a Warmables lunch set?

Simply answer the question below:

What is your favorite back-to-school lunch?

A winner will be chosen randomly over the weekend (contest closes on Friday), and will be announced on Monday.

~If you are reading this post on Facebook or Twitter, you must come to the original blog post and leave your comment in order to be eligible.

Good luck!

The winner of the Activity Bag giveaway is Jackie!

This is what she had to say:

Even on short trips (to the post office which is only 17 miles from our home to get the mail) or long trips we always take along Old Time Radio shows and books on tape to listen to. The materials in these items are better than what we can get anywhere else.
Congratulations!

Camping Breakfast: Omelet in a Bag

May23

If you haven’t yet entered my Camping Tips contest (to celebrate the arrival of my new Molly Goes Camping E-book), you’ll want to be sure and do so. Who doesn’t want $50 to put toward camping gear? And be sure and read all the great comments as there are some really excellent tips to be gleaned.

We took our first camp outing of the season this weekend and tested our “new to us” pop-up tent trailer. (You’ll see a picture of it in the Book) We kept meals intentionally quick and simple as we were attending a Scouting Centennial Celebration and there was lots going on.   Kristi’s “Breakfast in a Bag” suggestion left in the comments on the Camping Contest post, was a perfect fit. And just so everyone in the family would think I was especially odd, I remembered to take pictures for you before I ate! :-)

I had fried up some sausages at home and placed them, onions and green peppers in separate Ziploc bags, which I put in the cooler. For breakfast this morning, I simply cracked a couple of eggs in a bag and threw in some sausage, peppers and onions. I squished it all up, squeezed out the air, and plopped it in a pot of boiling water. A few minutes later we had a hearty omelet-type breakfast. Those of us that like cheese sprinkled some over the top of our bowls to make it extra yummy. It was quick and easy, with minimal cleanup. I definitely recommend this as a top notch camping trick.
